miracles. sometimes we feel like they don't happen so often these days. but maybe its just because we don't take opportunities to step out, be full of faith and *ask*for them. or maybe we aren't aware of the ones right in our faces.
when davis was born, i felt like God was asking me to step out, stretch my faith in Him, and ask Him for a miracle. a miracle that davis would make an astounding, record breaking recovery time even with all of His complications. i was asking that everything would go so well that the only reason it could be explained is the hand of God. and i've had such a ridiculous year filled with miracles, growth, trials, and, wonderful, amazing works of God, i figured "ehhh...hey, why not?! :D i mean i know what God is capable of so why not add a little more miraculous craziness?! ..." :D part of me was a little nervous to ask, but i knew He would be glorified no matter what the outcome.
but i should have known better than to be nervous tho. :D cause BAM. here we are. this past weekend was the weekend that i'd asked God to release davis from the hospital and let him go HOME :D and guess what?!?! he's been home since WEDNESDAY! God not only MET my crazy prayer, but he EXCEEDED my request. typical. :D my cousin said it so well. "we serve a God Who delights in giving us even more than we ask..." :D and that's what He did. just because He can, just because He feels like it. :D God's amazing. and thats really all. anybody who would beg to differ, just talk to me and i'm pretty sure i can persuade you otherwise. :D
so what miracle is God asking YOU to have faith for? where is God asking YOU to look for a miracle in your life? what miracle are YOU in need of today? what miracle has God *already given* or worked in your life would He like to open YOUR eyes to? cause God loves to work in the lives of His children. :)
